Field Service Engineer

Are you technically skilled, do you enjoy working independently, and do you like working at different locations? As a Field Service Engineer at Spaans Babcock, you will install, maintain and repair technical systems in the Netherlands and abroad.

What will you be doing?

You’ll work on-site at customers’ premises to ensure that systems operate correctly and safely.

Your responsibilities will include:

• commissioning new systems;
• supervising the installation of complete systems;
• carrying out maintenance, repairs and refurbishments;
• inspecting screw conveyors, aerators and fine screen systems;
• identifying and resolving technical faults;
• drawing up inspection and service reports;
• advising customers on maintenance and technical solutions.

What do you bring to the role?

You are technically minded, able to work independently and customer-focused. You also don’t mind being on the road regularly.

Furthermore:

• you have a technical qualification in mechanical engineering, plant engineering or electrical engineering at MBO level;
• you have technical insight and work with precision;
• you have a good command of Dutch and English;
• knowledge of German is an advantage;
• you are willing to travel nationally and internationally;
• do you have an eye for safety and quality;
• do you hold a Category B driving licence?
