All-round Packaging Employee
36 hours per week | Henri Willig | Heerenveen

Would you like a hands-on job in a modern production environment where you work with premium cheeses that are sold all over the world? As an All-round Packaging Employee at Henri Willig, you will help process, check, package and prepare cheeses for shipment.

You will join a team of around 25 colleagues and get plenty of variety in your work, as well as opportunities to grow into an operator role.

What will you do?

As an All-round Packaging Employee, you will be involved in different parts of the production and packaging process.

Your responsibilities include:

• processing cheeses, including removing them from brine, plastic coating and turning them;
• banding and labelling cheeses for sale and distribution;
• applying paraffin and packaging cheeses manually and using automated lines;
• carrying out visual quality checks;
• recording production data in the ERP system;
• preparing cheeses for further processing or shipment;
• supporting logistics activities such as order picking;
• cleaning machines, equipment and work areas;
• helping to maintain a safe and hygienic production environment.

You will work with different products and processes, making this a varied and practical production role.

What are your working hours?

You will work an average of 36 hours per week.

Most weeks you will work the day shift:

07:00 – 16:00

On average, one week per month you will work the evening shift:

14:00 – 22:00

For evening hours, you will receive a 34.2% shift allowance.

You will also have an extra weekday off approximately once every two weeks.

Who are we looking for?

You enjoy practical work, pay attention to quality and are comfortable working in a production environment.

You:

• have experience in a production or logistics environment;
• can work independently;
• have an eye for detail;
• have an interest in food and production processes;
• are flexible and available for both day and evening shifts;
• have a good command of the Dutch language;
• enjoy working as part of a team.

This role is a good fit if you want to further develop your skills in production or logistics.

Henri Willig has been active since 1974 as a livestock farmer, cheese producer, retailer and exporter.

The organisation produces Dutch and organic cheese specialities for customers in the Netherlands and abroad. Henri Willig consists of a livestock farm, two cheese dairies, 39 shops, a Grand Café and an online shop.
