Zicht op Geld is a nationwide financial advisory firm headquartered in Leeuwarden. We work with a team of advisers.
We provide financial advice to people whose partner or parent is moving into a care home. This is often a stressful, emotional time when there is a lot to organise. However, current laws and regulations do not make it easy to sort out all the financial arrangements. That is where our strength lies; we are happy to help you with this.
Zicht op Geld was founded in 2017 when the mother-in-law of our founder, Gina Kingma, was admitted to a care home. Gina explains: “When my mother-in-law was admitted, I became involved for the first time in the financial aspects of living in a care home. Despite my years of experience in the financial world, this was completely new territory for me. Through trial and error, I found my way through the maze of rules and authorities. Thanks to these efforts, my parents-in-law suddenly had an extra €15,000 at their disposal. It’s astonishing that such benefits are only available to those who know the rules inside out.
This experience opened my eyes and touched my heart. That is why I am now fully committed to helping people with a partner or parent in a care home. My aim is to help them find the financial peace of mind and security they deserve. That way, they can focus on what really matters: each other.”
