Situated on the edge of the Alde Feanen National Park, the family-run business Zeilschool en Natuurlijk de Veenhoop offers a unique experience centred around nature, adventure and relaxation. Our friendly campsite is the ideal base for both those seeking peace and quiet and active holidaymakers. We offer spacious camping pitches, private sanitary facilities, paved yet green motorhome pitches, chalets and safari tents. From the campsite, you can walk straight into the nature reserve or take a dip in the water for a refreshing cool-down.

Our sailing school has been a household name in the sailing world for over fifty years. We not only offer sailing courses and sailing camps, but also emphasise teamwork, responsibility and respect for one another – values that are essential both on and off the water. Sailing itself is more than just a sport; it is a game with wind and water, where decision-making and trust are central.
