Veenma Mechanisatie is a family business with a rich history dating back to 1945. Founded by Jan Veenma as a village blacksmith in Niawier, the company has grown to become a leading player in the mechanisation sector.
In 1965, new business premises comprising a shop and a residence were built – a bold move at a time when many small farmers were giving up. With the arrival of his son, Gosse Veenma, in 1971, the focus shifted to mechanisation for arable farming and livestock farming. Today, the third generation, represented by Feitze Veenma, is active within the company. Veenma focuses on various sectors such as livestock farming, arable farming, horticulture and landscaping, construction and cleaning, and continues to develop within the field of mechanisation.
