VDL Smart Spaces is one of the newest additions to the VDL family. Our brand-new organisation, formerly known as VDL Bus Heerenveen, is currently undergoing an ambitious transformation process.
In 2022, we implemented a major change in our business operations. We have switched from manufacturing buses to assembling building modules for a Dutch construction group. In this way, we are contributing in a socially responsible manner to solving the acute shortage of affordable housing in the Netherlands. Our approach combines the latest production techniques with the construction sector. We do all this under our motto: ‘strength through collaboration’.
Our ambition
At VDL Smart Spaces, we strive not only to manufacture top-quality products, but also to fulfil our social responsibilities in the areas of safety and the environment. We are committed to complying with and continuously improving our policies in these areas.
Vacancies
We are currently looking for new talent to strengthen our team, with several vacancies available. Furthermore, we are an accredited training company and offer comprehensive work-based learning programmes and opportunities for (final-year) work placements. This makes VDL Smart Spaces an ideal place for both experienced professionals and those just starting their careers.
