We are Van Wijnen. Together, we create spaces for a better life. A building only takes on meaning when it is used by people. Because that is when a place comes to life. Van Wijnen was founded in 1907 and since then we have learnt that it is not about the bricks and mortar, but about the people. For it is only through living, working, learning, caring and recreating in a space or place that it truly comes to life. As committed professionals, we look beyond the technical aspects. In every project, we seek to connect with residents, clients, the immediate surroundings and fellow professionals. We do this with 2,400 committed and passionate professionals across 32 locations in the Netherlands, working sustainably and close to our clients and suppliers. In this way, our work never stands alone, but retains its value for as many people as possible, for as long as possible. That is what we call: more than just building.
