Who exactly is van Baerdt: Meet Hobbe van Baerdt, a striking and very well-known 16th-century Jouster Grietman. His legacy continues to this day, with the Jouster Van Baerdt Brewery, founded in 2018. And now we are adding a new chapter to that legacy with our own yacht-building company. Inspired by maritime traditions and craftsmanship, this new project promises innovation and style, in keeping with Joure’s rich history.
