The history of Univé Dichtbij begins with the establishment of various mutual fire insurance societies in four regions. The oldest predecessor of Univé Dichtbij was founded in 1815, when farmers joined forces to share the fire risks for their farms. Two centuries later, that is still the essence of cooperative insurance: sharing risks among members. As an independent fire insurer, Univé Dichtbij offers you the opportunity to share the risks for your home with other members. You can also turn to us for cover against other uncertainties, whether you are a private individual or an (agricultural) entrepreneur.
