Craftsmanship and traditional trades. These are two pillars that have always been central to our beautiful village. Since the mid-1970s, our company has been an integral part of the business community in Makkum. But even the predecessors of De Houtmolen were already engaged in traditional carpentry more than 125 years ago. Since 1996, our current business has been based on De Houtmolen, the street of the same name in Makkum.
