We are Smids en Schakel Accountants en Adviseurs B.V. from Leeuwarden. We are a full-service firm for SMEs and speak our clients’ language: plain language. Whether that’s in Dutch, English or Frisian.
At Smids en Schakel, we have a very diverse team. Some are more reserved, others more outgoing. And our personal interests vary so widely that organising a staff outing every year is a real challenge. Yet we deliberately choose this diverse mix. That way, there’s always an accountant or adviser you’ll click with.
In any case, we have one thing in common: our passion. A passion for numbers and for helping people with them. A combination that brings a great deal of satisfaction. Just as a doctor uses their passion for the human body to help others, so do we with numbers. In that respect, accountants are just ordinary people!
As well as a joke now and then, at Smids en Schakel we believe it’s important to keep both feet firmly on the ground. We speak in plain language and tell it like it is.
