Put on some overalls, put on your mask and enter the room. There are scaffolding pipes, clubs, crowbars, hockey sticks and sledgehammers with which you’ll smash crockery, bottles, TVs, printers, mannequins and much more to smithereens.

An idea born of frustration

Sometimes you just want to smash something. And that’s normal. Stress, frustration, emotions you can’t shake off — they pile up. You don’t smash your TV at home. You talk yourself round in circles to keep everything ‘normal’.

This idea gave rise to Sloopkamer. A place where you’re simply allowed to let those energies out. Where smashing things isn’t just allowed, but encouraged — in a safe, professional and, above all, liberating way.

We started in Dokkum, the heart of Friesland, with a mission to help thousands of people rediscover their balance. Not by talking, but by doing. Not by pushing your feelings away, but by letting them go.

Today, more than 500 sessions have guided people towards that liberation. And every time we see the same reaction: a big smile, a clear mind, and someone who feels like themselves again.
