Script offers opportunities
Script is a healthcare and IT company with offices in Leeuwarden and Groningen. There, five days a week, we support young people and adults with (traits of) autism and/or giftedness. Through work-based learning programmes, reintegration programmes, bespoke programmes and day care, we offer neurodiverse IT talents prospects: participating, developing and working in IT.
What we do
Script was founded to enable people with autism to thrive in areas that match their interests. We focus on talents and seek appropriate solutions to obstacles. The ultimate goal is focused on participation. Whether that involves entering the labour market, returning to school or having a meaningful daily routine.
Learning to programme
We combine an innovative and challenging IT programme with high-quality support. People with autism possess unique qualities such as an eye for detail, logical thinking and the ability to recognise patterns quickly. These are talents that are perfectly suited to software development. At Script, they can discover and/or further develop their passion for programming. We do this through the Codebook: our own online learning guide. Under the guidance of experienced IT professionals, participants learn to programme like a professional, individually and at their own pace.
Tailored support
In addition to a challenging IT programme, Script offers tailored support. Together with a support worker, participants work on goals such as establishing structure, increasing resilience and enhancing self-reliance. This approach ensures that our participants not only develop technical skills but also become more resilient in their daily lives. In this way, we work together to build a solid foundation for a successful and happy future.
