Marrekrite has been the leading host of the Frisian countryside for over 60 years. We create and maintain recreational facilities on both land and water, so that visitors can enjoy nature and the unique Frisian landscape to the full.
Unique and accessible
Our network comprises over 33 kilometres of mooring points, spread across 400 locations, where boats can moor free of charge in the heart of nature – a unique concept in Europe. We also manage the Fryslân Cycle Network (2,838 km) and the Fryslân Walking Network (3,903 km). With our tourist transfer points (TOPs), we make exploring by bike, on foot or by boat even easier. Your journey of discovery through Fryslân begins at Marrekrite!
