Noorderbreedte primarily provides care for elderly people in Friesland across fifteen locations and a rehabilitation centre.
Noorderbreedte specialises in dementia, Huntington’s disease, geriatric psychiatry, Korsakov’s syndrome and acquired brain injury. We provide elderly people with complex care, rehabilitation and recovery care, day care and treatment.
We make a difference
At Noorderbreedte, over 2,700 staff members and more than 1,500 volunteers work to ensure a meaningful day for our residents and clients. They do this by making a difference. That difference is often found in the small, everyday things. By listening and getting to know the residents’ and clients’ life stories well, it becomes clear what someone needs or wants.
