Kwadrant is a leading care group in the Frisian elderly care sector. We are here for people who need care, support and treatment. Genuine care and expert support form the basis of our thinking and actions.

Kwadrant employs 6,300 staff (2,900 FTE) and 1,600 volunteers. They are the beating heart of our organisation. We invest in their growth and development so that they can take great pleasure in providing you with the best possible care.

We do this by offering a comprehensive package of care, support and treatment: support at home, care at home, assisted living and temporary stays with us.

Support at home

Sometimes you may need a little help with your daily activities. Whether it’s keeping your home clean, running the household or staying in touch with friends and family: our staff are happy to help. We’ll talk to you about what matters to you. Together, we’ll explore what you can do yourself, where there’s room for improvement, and where professional help is needed. We’ll discuss together how this can be organised. We support you individually at home or in a group at one of our centres. We are happy to involve the people who are important to you in this process. We also work closely with local authorities and other community organisations.

Care at home

It’s nice to be able to continue living in your own home, even if you need care temporarily or for a longer period. Our district nurses are at the heart of care provision in neighbourhoods and villages. Our care staff provide both basic and highly specialised care. They are familiar with the resources available in your local area and are experts in prevention and health. Based on your care needs and personal circumstances, they advise you on suitable aids and the most appropriate care and treatment.

We focus on your capabilities, both now and in the future. We work closely with the people around you. By working in small teams, you get to know our staff and they get to know you. That’s much more pleasant!

Staying with us temporarily (recovery care)

If you are unable to recover at home following an operation or illness, you can turn to us for help. In our recovery wards, you can actively work towards your recovery. Our staff guarantee specialist care, advice and treatment. Everything is geared towards ensuring you can manage independently at home again as soon as possible. This may involve the use of aids or home care.

Supported living

When the time comes that living at home is no longer feasible, we’ll help you find a suitable living environment. In our residential care centres, you can count on a safe and comfortable environment. Your routines and the care you were used to at home form the basis of our staff’s approach. In complex situations, they are on hand 24 hours a day to provide high-quality care. We strive to work with you to ensure that every day is meaningful.
