Damstra was founded on 15 January 1910. This means that for over a century we have been committed to providing high-quality installation services to our customers. Whether it concerns plumbing, heating, electrical installations or the latest sustainable technologies.

Over the years, we have built up extensive experience and expertise through the completion of various large and smaller projects. For us, it is not just about quality (which is a prerequisite), but also about innovative thinking, energy efficiency and reliability. Thinking alongside the customer, close consultation and a thorough assessment of the client’s requirements are of the utmost importance. We carry out projects in both new builds and renovations, with our well-equipped workshop, modern tools and materials playing a major role.

One of our greatest strengths is that we are a close-knit family business. And we are proud of that! Mutual commitment, a strong team spirit and personal relationships with both clients and staff are values we cherish. This family spirit has been passed down through the generations and continues to drive us forward.

There are now seven branches under the Koninklijke Damstra Installatiegroep. The Service & Maintenance department is based in Leeuwarden and Groningen, whilst Faber Wijnberg Installatietechniek is located on Ameland. In 2024, Sikma Installatie in Sneek and Dekker Struik Installatietechniek in Groningen and Assen were added to the Damstra Group through an acquisition. The head office is in Driezum.
