We strive for a healthy living environment for people and nature, with a focus on social issues such as biodiversity, climate, water, nitrogen and the landscape. It Fryske Gea consists of dedicated (volunteer) staff and works together with partners such as fellow organisations, public authorities and neighbours.
Whether the issue is nitrogen, drought, the protection of meadow birds or recreation in our areas, we are happy to share our vision and considerations. We believe it is important to prioritise the interests of our valuable natural environment and our unique landscape, but we also take into account the interests of the people who live and work in Fryslân. We strive for an environment where people, plants and animals can thrive.
