Dokkum GP Centre is a lovely, well-organised GP practice. Together with our enthusiastic team, we provide GP care to around 12,000 residents of the beautiful town of Dokkum in Noardeast-Fryslân.
The catchment area includes a care home (Dongeraheem) and the Sionsberg Medical Centre. There are also a number of institutions for people with intellectual disabilities to whom we provide GP care. The practice was built in 2008. In the evenings and at weekends, Dokterswacht Friesland organises out-of-hours care in part of our practice.
The partnership consists of six practice owners/GPs. Our close-knit team also comprises GPs, PAs, nurse practitioners, practice nurses (somatic, lifestyle, mental health), nurses, assistants and a practice manager. Key priorities of the practice: future-proof GP care, collaboration, developing initiatives, team spirit and enthusiasm.
