Would you like to work in a world where traditional craftsmanship meets state-of-the-art production techniques, and are you keen to build a career as an All-round Cheese Maker or a Packaging Assistant / Process Operator within the Logistics department? Then Henri Willig Cheese Factory offers you the right working environment to make your dream a reality.
Cheese making
There are quite a few cheese makers in the Netherlands, but there is only one Henri Willig Cheese Factory. A family business where, as a Cheese Factory Operator, you will learn to master the craft of cheese making – namely milk processing and the cheese-making process itself – from start to finish. A unique combination in the Netherlands. And, of course, in a technologically advanced production environment.
During an extensive induction period, you will work closely with experienced colleagues who will guide you through the trade. After the induction period, you will have the opportunity – provided you do not already hold them – to obtain your MBO3 Food Technology and MBO4 Cheese VOB qualifications, in addition to the courses and training offered by the Henri Willig Academy. At Henri Willig Cheese Factory, you are not just starting a new job; your role marks the beginning of your own career path!
You will work on a five-shift rota, working six days followed by four days off (you will work an average of 33.6 hours per week).
Cheese handling
The Processing Line Operator and All-round Packaging Assistant, with their knowledge and understanding of automated processes, form a vital link in the storage and handling of the various cheese specialities produced by Henri Willig Cheese Factory.
In recent years, Henri Willig Cheese Factory has invested heavily in expanding and improving its factory in Heerenveen. This includes, for example, the implementation of a (robotised) packaging line, a cheese processing line and a completely renovated, expanded and automated cheese warehouse. You will be working with the most modern robots and AGVs in the dairy industry, as well as with artisanal speciality cheeses that have won awards worldwide.
With their knowledge and understanding of automated processes, the Operator and all-round packaging staff form a vital link in the storage and handling of the various cheese specialities produced by Kaasmakerij Henri Willig.
