There is a lot going on in the world around us. We are facing a significant challenge in the areas of the environment and climate change. As a construction group, we believe it is important to be and remain involved. After all, our DNA consists of three essential building blocks: reliability, competence and resilience. Through these, we connect ourselves, as a committed builder, with the world around us.

Friso Bouwgroep is a versatile construction company with no fewer than nine branches in the provinces of Friesland, Groningen, Flevoland and Gelderland. Over 550 employees work across Friso Bouwgroep’s various branches and Houkesloot Toelevering’s manufacturing sites.

Friso is a company with an order book comprising numerous disciplines and a wide range of projects. By combining the strengths and expertise of its various business units, Friso is able to work quickly and professionally. The foundations laid over 75 years ago, at a time when quick thinking and collaboration were essential, still hold true today.

The committed builder

We are the committed builder: reliable, skilled and steadfast. Since 1946, we have been building a sustainable living environment with and for one another. We are a versatile builder and literally cater to all aspects of the construction industry. We build homes, offices and bridges, as well as factories and schools. We carry out maintenance and refurbishments, and we restore and renovate.

In addition, we are a property developer, realising our own housing projects. In our factories, we produce prefabricated building elements made of concrete and timber. We do this in a sustainable and responsible manner. As a committed builder, we are at the heart of society and take our impact seriously. We are committed to our sector and are literally building the future. And in doing so, safety comes first.
