Acting like a contractor, thinking like an ecologist We are a specialist landscaping company with roots in the northern Netherlands dating back to the 17th century. We operate in Friesland, Groningen, Drenthe and North Holland. In total, we employ around 130 people.
Our organisation has a flat structure. We work quickly and flexibly, with a core team of project leaders and a small management layer. Everything is geared towards delivering high quality, on schedule and within the agreed timeframe. We take the pressure off our clients, are proactive and forward-thinking.
We specialise in:
- Installation and maintenance of green roofs and retention roofs;
- Landscaping, such as parks, new-build projects and redevelopments;
- Ecological consultancy, construction and management, for example, converting lawns, ecological mowing management and nature-inclusive projects;
- Tree care: survey, advice, pruning and transplanting;
- Nature-inclusive design (gardens, parks and residential areas);
- The (3D) design and construction of gardens;
- Maintenance management for indoor and outdoor green spaces for businesses and organisations, such as schools and housing associations.
We are a large small organisation with a northern mindset. We don’t waste words. We don’t dawdle. We just get started and deliver good work. We do what we’ve agreed to do. We don’t charge more than it actually costs. We keep going until the job is done. We are honest with our clients.
We work quickly, cost-effectively and purposefully. We’re curious too. Never afraid to try new things. New materials, new methods, new ways of thinking. If something’s effective, we’re at the forefront. We also work with many different partners.
You could describe us as a contractor with the curiosity of an ecologist. We head straight for our goal, but keep an eye on our surroundings. Is there a rare orchid over there? We select our people based on this.
