Our partners in the cultural and social sector work every day to make Fryslân an even better place. Fers helps them to amplify that impact as a space creator and innovator.
The Frisian libraries hold a special place in our hearts. For over 60 years, we have been the support organisation for the Frisian libraries. Together with our partners, we form a network with a shared ambition: the very best version of Fryslân. Where every person discovers their talents, realises their potential and comes into their own.
What we believe in
We are convinced that you can only solve social issues, both big and small, if players in the cultural and social sector work together as partners. That sounds obvious, but it isn’t. After all, working together isn’t easy. It requires trust, space, patience and, at times, putting the common good before one’s own interests. Because we believe in the power of collaboration, we are committed to making collaboration more enjoyable and effective.
With over 50 staff members, we work on this every day with our sleeves rolled up, positive energy and a strong sense of commitment.
