Ergo Actief, a practice specialising in paediatric occupational therapy.
Occupational therapy focuses on enabling people to act, so that participation (people’s involvement in daily and social life) can be achieved for the sake of health and well-being. This is achieved by increasing the functional capabilities of the child and their family/network, or by utilising and/or adapting the social and physical environment.
Paediatric occupational therapy focuses on prevention and intervention with the aim of enabling children to participate in various contexts, such as at home and at school.
