Efko Beton is a full-service concrete company based in Uitwellingerga. We work on the largest infrastructure projects in the Netherlands. From our energy-neutral factory, we supply a range of standard products for civil engineering and specialised bespoke products for the public sector, construction and architecture, including concrete elements for the design of public spaces.
Efko Beton specialises in complex solutions and (small) batches. Thanks to our flexibility and in-house factory, we can produce unique products made from energy-neutral concrete. Colour? A combination of concrete and wood? Washing with gravel or crushed stone? A single-piece production run? It is precisely when something needs to be special that we can make the difference. Efko Beton masters the craft of formwork, concrete mixing and delivering bespoke solutions.
Young Team
As specialists in aesthetic concrete, we aim to lead the way in the hydraulic engineering and public works market, and for that we need talented, ambitious people. The Efko Beton team is diverse, offering a great mix of youthful enthusiasm and years of experience. For instance, Efko Beton is run by Ralf and Ruud Riemersma – experienced young men with a fresh perspective on the industry and a keen eye for detail. And they are incredibly proud of the expertise built up by their colleagues in the factory. It is precisely this mix of young and old that makes up the Efko Beton team.
100% energy-neutral
Since 2022, the Efko Beton concrete plant has been 100% energy-neutral. How? Our 300 solar panels generate enough energy to meet the energy needs of Efko Beton plus 25 households in the local area; our office is heated by a heat pump; the factory has extra insulation; and all areas are fitted with LED lighting.
Working on the Netherlands’ largest infrastructure projects
The Efko Beton team contributes daily to the realisation of the Netherlands’ largest infrastructure projects. For example, Efko Beton supplied expertise and bespoke products for De Groene Boog, Terbregseplein and the A1 Apeldoorn-Azelo motorway. But Efko Beton’s products can also be seen closer to home, including in Sneek, Joure, Drachten, Gaastmeer, Balk, Delfstrahuizen and Franeker.
