Building a unique yacht requires creativity, flexibility and, above all, craftsmanship. The 420 yacht builders in Makkum certainly have these qualities in abundance. In the two large dock halls, measuring between 120 and 180 metres, they utilise the latest technological developments to create luxurious, quiet and sustainable yachts. At the shipyard in Makkum, painters, pipeworkers, engineers, project managers, welders, woodworkers and fitters work together on the completion and refits of two to three exclusive yachts per year.
