De Jong Gorredijk B.V. is a company founded in 1859 that has evolved from a supplier of pots and jugs, through the manufacture of milk churns, beer tanks and soft drink containers, to become one of the world’s largest manufacturers of stainless steel hot water tanks. The organisation currently employs more than 200 motivated staff; the driving force behind our organisation. We manufacture our innovative, high-quality tanks for well-known suppliers of heating products such as Bosch, Vaillant, ATAG, Hitachi and many others. We supply our products worldwide. Together with our customers, we are constantly developing new products and technologies to set ourselves apart in the market. Our products are increasingly being used in sustainable systems such as solar boilers and heat pumps. These are products of the future for which demand is growing steadily.

Since 2022, De Jong Gorredijk B.V. has been part of Rheem. This American company is the only one in the world that manufactures both heating and cooling systems, hot water solutions, swimming pool heating, and commercial refrigeration and freezing systems. In addition, Rheem is the largest manufacturer of hot water solutions in North America. Rheem’s products are sold in over 50 countries worldwide.
