CKS is the umbrella organisation for Theater Sneek, the Bolwerk music venue, the Atrium arts centre and the Akte2 cultural agency. Together, we form the cultural heart of Súdwest-Fryslân.
Together, these four departments make an indispensable contribution to cultural life in the municipality. We programme theatre performances, concerts and professional performing arts in every conceivable genre. Artists from both home and abroad, as well as local artists, feel right at home with us. In our classes and courses, people of all ages discover their talent in music, dance, theatre, musicals and the visual arts. We are also happy to provide them with a stage. For example, in joint CKS productions such as At the Watergate, the VERS! music festival and the MUZT musicals.
