Balink Glas en Aluminium has been in business for almost 100 years; it is based in Heerenveen, where it also has its roots. The company serves a wide market, both nationally and internationally. Balink manufactures and supplies glass and aluminium structures and often installs them as well. Balink’s work can be found everywhere. Examples include Coop and Jumbo supermarkets throughout the Netherlands, the Courthouse in Amsterdam, detached (luxury) homes in the north of the Netherlands, and shop façades. Balink is renowned for its bespoke solutions and consistent quality across its product ranges and services.

Balink is originally a family business and was, until recently, run by the third generation of the Balink family. The company has recently become part of the Xidoor Group (a Dutch holding company and third-generation family business), alongside Svedex, Berkvens, Bod’or and Xidoor France, which comprise various leading brands.
