AB Vakwerk. The name says it all: we are craftsmen. We believe that craftsmanship shapes the future. With around 130 office colleagues, we are a great team of people spread across nine locations in Friesland, North Holland and Flevoland, working well together and always there for one another. This spirit of collaboration is rooted in our cooperative heritage. Drawing on our core values of connection, optimism and responsibility, we make craftsmanship even more enjoyable.
THIS IS WHAT WE DO
Out of a love for our profession, we get up every day to hone our craft within our own field. This means we provide the best possible service to our staff, customers and members. Our sector specialists focus on a single specific sector, so you really know the ins and outs when you sit down with an employee, member or customer. At the service office, you’ll find a team of enthusiastic staff who use their specialist knowledge to contribute to an optimal (working) experience. Think, for example, of smart data that helps us manage daily processes more effectively, or colleagues who deliver training from our own training centre for staff in the field.
WHAT DOES WORKING AT AB VAKWERK MEAN?
We know better than anyone that good staff are hard to come by. That’s why we value them and do our best every day to be a good employer for you. We do this by, among other things, organising an annual legendary ‘AB Day’ where fun is the priority. Every September, we organise an AB evening where we are updated on the company’s strategies and goals, and there’s also room for humour and a nice meal together. But how about a game of paddle tennis with colleagues or the annual Sinterklaas bingo? And we could go on and on…
